Meet Production Manager Brent Husted
Brent Husted joined the Quin Global team in January, 2024. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and 14 years of manufacturing experience, Brent is uniquely suited for his role as Production Manager at Quin.
As Production Manager, Brent is responsible for making sure that production floor is running smoothly and customer orders are manufactured and shipped on time. He oversees a large team and multiple processes that are crucial to the business. For anyone new to his team, his advice is clear, “don’t be afraid to ask questions or challenge what we are doing. Always push to do better.” This philosophy of continuous improvement is one of the things that makes Brent excellent at his job and highly valued at Quin. He models the core values that are the foundation to Quin culture: Innovation, One Team and Excellence.
When asked his favorite thing about working at Quin, Brent says, “I never dread coming to work. I am always excited to come to work and ready for the next challenge. It’s a great team and great culture!” Brent feels that Quin is able to make a big impact in the adhesive industry, “Being a smaller family-owned business allows us to have better customer relationships and be seamless to work with. That helps us to produce a better product for our end users. Having these relationships allows us to understand what our customers need, which gives us an advantage to respond to the market much faster than most larger competitors can. Our goal is to make products that are simple for distributors to sell and that simplify our customers work processes and to be easy to do business with.”
Brent is originally from Holdredge, Nebraska and has been married to wife Jessica for 15 years. They are parents of three sons: Blake 14, Ashton 10, Knox 8 and a silver Labrador Retriever named Stella. In his free time, Brent enjoys watching and supporting the boys as they play all kinds of sports, including basketball, baseball and football. You’ll likely find him drinking his favorite beverage, coffee, each morning. You can bet Brent is happy that the end of summer is near, as fall is his favorite season and Halloween is his absolute favorite holiday!
