Quin Global Americas is excited to welcome Evert Luke to our team!
Evert Luke joined the Quin Global team on November 12, 2024. With over 4 years of sales experience in the manufacturing world and 10 years of combined sales experience, Evert is uniquely suited for his role as Business Development Manager at Quin.
As Business Development Manager for the Southwest region, Evert is responsible for Quin customers in Arizona, Utah, Nevada and Southern California. Previously he was a business development manager for an HVAC parts manufacturer, developing strategic partnerships with distributors nationwide. One of his key personal accomplishments there was working in the Florida market, where they had minimal market share and he had successfully grew that region by 250% within 12 months.
Evert grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan but spent a several years living in Texas, Florida and now lives in Arizona. He has been married to his wife, Rawah, for over two years and has a 1-year-old daughter, as well as a family pet turtle named Pickle. It is worth noting that while turtles might be famous for being slow, Pickle is the exception… he is very energetic and very fast!
When not working, Evert enjoys traveling the world with his family – his 1-year-old already has 6 stamps in her passport! He also dedicates Sunday to family time, which usually consists of brunch followed by time at the park or going up north for sight-seeing and hiking. He also considers himself a foodie and loves food from all cultures. Says Evert, “My wife is Jordanian and knows how to cook authentic Arabic cuisine – which is amongst some of my favorite food. I also love Asian, Italian, Greek, and BBQ.” His favorite drink is a classic old fashion. An interesting fact about him is that he likes to bartend for family and friends’ gatherings and recently bartended for his sister-in-law’s wedding.
His best advice for someone starting in sales is to have thick skin, be persistent and stay positive. So far, his favorite about working with the Quin team is the work ethic and having the team structure to support one another. Most of all, he loves the family first mentality at Quin. Standing by the core value of Family First is a huge differentiator for the company, as understanding that family is a priority allows employees to have peace of mind in their workweek.
“Quin is making a positive impact in the industry by staying innovative and adapting to the ever-changing world we live in, such as changing regulations and customer needs,” Evert said.
