Dan joined the Quin team in 2021. With more than 20 years of Sales experience, Dan is uniquely suited for his role as the Northeast & Mid-Atlantic Business Development Manager at Quin. In this role, Dan is responsible for growing the distribution network and adhesive sales in the region. About his role, Dan says, “The adhesive Industry was new to me when I started with Quin. But the company owners and my colleagues have given me an excellent start to this industry.”
Dan grew up in the NYC Metro area on Long Island, New York and moved to North Central Connecticut 20 years ago. He has five siblings and has been married to his wife for 11 years and counting! In his free time, Dan loves grilling with different cuts of meat, and hamburgers for a crowd. Since both he and his wife come from large families, they love entertaining family & friends intheir home. If he doesn’t have a plate of grilled meat in front of him, it’s likely he’s eating pizza – which is his favorite food. A nice glass of Irish Whiskey, (although he says Bourbon is a close 2nd) is his favorite drink to sip.
It's interesting to note that Dan is left-handed in most things, but writes with his right hand, because his kindergarten teacher wouldn’t let him use his left hand!
As far as work goes, Dan’s advice for someone just starting at Quin is to ask lots of questions and observe customers’ processes as a way of learning faster. He feels the best thing about working at Quin is that management has the best at heart for the team. The Quin Core Values are a testament to the Strength of Quin. Dan says that Quin’s commitment to Innovation is what sets us apart from the Industry. A culture of Continuous Improvement permeates the entire company and customers benefit from this.
When asked what three words best describe his role, Dan replied, “Always Ask Questions.” And true to his word, Dan is known among the Quin team for always asking questions to learn more in any given situation. You can call him the King of Questions! 👑
